Writer's Block: Change is good

If you could change one major thing about your life, whether a relationship, your job, your living situation, your school, etc., what would it be? Are you currently working toward a serious life transition?

i would not change a thing. if i changed something, i would not be the person i am-- i would be some other person with a different life experience.
unless, of course, that thing i changed was to win the lottery last week.  ^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H

so if i changed something, it would be a different person trying to change something else, ad infinitum. who'd want that?

the consequences would not be worth it. time loops. go figure.

darkness, uncertain doom

Writer's Block: Place of Residence (Dream Home)

Describe your dream house (even if it's not a house).

my dream house would have a first floor with bright, saturated colors, decor with well-defined edges, and scenarios that invoke and exaggerate high points and low points in home entertainment, complete with discussions that escalate to ejections and defenestrations.

the staircase would, curiously, look inviting until a guest wishes to go to the second floor, in which case the staircase would become unaccounted for.

the second floor would have dim, desaturated colors with lighting that creates clumps of darkness that barely conceal slowly unwinding spikey things, slimey things, dangerously-toothed things. the bedroom doors would all be locked, but would spontaneously swing open to invite passersby to participate in nightmares not of their choosing.

the house would shift and creak in ways that suggest that massive unseen things were repositioning themselves to see, or, perhaps, to lunge better.

dream house, i will see you tonight!
